Spring is springing

Last November, I took a leap of faith and pruned back the roses that the previous owner had planted. Last winter, the one with the extremely large snowstorms, I didn't prune the roses back. And it looked like the previous owner hadn't touched the roses in quite some time, if ever.

But hey, don't you know, this whole pruning thing actually works. I may yet become a gardener...
